Saturday night, 9:00PM-ish.

I stroll into WinCo to pick up a few items. As a male caucasian, I found myself a minority. Nothing wrong with that, just unique since I'M IN BOISE, IDAHO. Anyway...the majority of people in the store were in groups of 3 adults...man, wife (presumably), and older women (presumably mother of presumed wife) AND 5 or 6 kids ranging from a couple of months to 10 years in age. Each adult shopper was pushing a cart overloaded with food. Every kid was screaming and/or running loose. I've never seen anything like this in a Boise grocery store...then again, I'm not typically spending a Saturday night in a grocery store. Anyone know if this is a normal Saturday night event?

1st time @ Winco huh?... That's the norm. And frankly it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the abysmally narrow aisles.

That's why I go at like 2am.. only tweakers and drunks are in there at that time.

Pleasant experience always.

"That's why I shop at the Eagle Winco, fewer undesirables."

Well you know, Eagle is where all the Meridian yuppie's parents live. Nothing but a town full of rich, cheapskate old people who eat at Perkins once a week. It's the opposite of Garden City over there, and is the only part of town I never really like bieng in.

Star is kinda neat with there cute little western theme, Kuna stinks, and East Boise is a dream.
